Next Chapter Book Club is a unique community-based book club program for adolescents (16 & up) and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our members love books for the same reasons most people do: they enjoy being transported to different worlds where they meet interesting characters and learn about exciting new things. Taking that journey with a group of friends makes it even more meaningful and fun.This inclusive book club meets most Mondays in Zoom and is open to anyone who enjoys a good story! Non-readers, non-verbal, emerging readers, fluent/avid readers are all welcome and encouraged to participate at their comfort level. Books are provided in advance of each meeting. Next Chapter Book Club is supported by a grant from the Ridgefield Thrift Shop and is offered in partnership with SPHERE.Please contact Assistant Library Director Andy Forsyth for more information and to register [email protected] or (203) 438-2282 ext 102.

Here are some common examples of using the Cloud:  Sharing files or photos, backing up important data, keeping track of your schedule using Google Calendar, using online versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other popular programs, using Google Docs to create and collaborate on documents, using Netflix, Spotify or Pandora, and so on. What are the advantages of using the Cloud? Is the Cloud safe? How do I save files to the Cloud? Concepts and usage of the Cloud will be demonstrated and discussed. Rosen Movement encourages relaxation through range of motions and simple, easy-to-do stretching exercises done to music.These movements are designed to lubricate the joints, expand the chest, and loosen the diaphragm.Betty Ross has been studying the body for more than 20 years. She is a licensed massage therapist, a Rosen Bodywork Practitioner, a Rosen Movement Teacher, a Core Energetics Practitioner and a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner.This class will be offered on second and fourth Thursdays at 1:00.
