About Us
Winter Garden Ice Arena offers a progression of programs for every level of skater. Non-skaters can start with Ice Mice, Learn to Skate or Learn to Skate for Hockey Players, three age specific programs designed to get you or your child started in the sport. Already skate? Join in our higher levels of Learn to Skate, or Hockey Development. If your child already has a foundation in skating and hockey sills, come join the GHL Recreational Youth Hockey Program We even offer skating and hockey programs for the adult eager to join the fun! Public Skating sessions are available on a per skate basis or by season pass. Our skating season begins in September and continues through the end of April. Public skating sessions take place on weekdays started in September from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Beginning Thanksgiving weekend, sessions are available on Sundays, 12:50 to 2:10 p.m. In order to best meet public demand, times will be expanded during holidays and Ridgefield school vacations. Check the schedule often. Organizations may call in advance for group rates.
