The market features local, microfarmers to increase access to fresh, affordable food for underserved communities.   The West Broad Farmers Market with the Athens Land Trust mission is to build a neighborhood-based economy by providing a retail space for under-served farmers and food-based small business owners. In addition, they welcome local artisans, crafters, and non-profit and service vendors to join in at the market.   EXTRA RESOURCES: - As a Fresh For Less partner, they can double the SNAP/EBT dollars. Chamber Ambassadors serve as the organization's public relations team and are highly visible throughout the Chamber and community. Ambassadors are responsible for engaging, encouraging, nurturing, and expanding relationships on behalf of the Chamber. You've likely seen them at ribbon cuttings and other chamber events!  Ambassadors meet on the third Tuesday of each month at noon. If you'd like to join the Chamber Ambassador team, please fill out an application here. Applications are always accepted and new Ambassadors are onboarded on a quarterly basis.
