Today is the tentative last day of school. The Board of Education will approve the last day of school, usually in April. As a state law, five additional emergency days are added to the end of the D70 school calendar, after June 3, allowing the district to use them if a Snow Day of no school is called during the winter. The school year is extended for each additional Snow Day, up to five days, which would be June 10. When eLearning Days are used for no school days, emergency days are not needed to add to the end of the school year because students will be in school virtually.
