Join us for Young Hoosier Book Club for grades 3-5! Every month, we will meet and discuss one of the Young Hoosier Intermediate Nominated books. Each month we will rate the book on a scale of 1-5. In April, our ratings will be submitted to the Young Hoosier Book Award Committee.This month, we will be reading "Animal Rescue Friends" by Gina Loveless and Meika Hashimoto. Welcome to Animal Rescue Friends, where any stray can find a friendly face—furry or otherwise. Kids ages 5 to 11 can bring along a favorite book and read aloud to some of the BEST listeners around:  The sweet and cuddly therapy pets from Love on a Leash!Registration is required.  Kids must check in at the Children's Desk the evening of the event and sign up for a 20 minute time slot.  They will then spend a few minutes reading with each of the dogs while also learning a little about what therapy pets do!
