This support program meets monthly for connection and group discussions. Aubrey Kitchel coordinates this with a local non-profit doula program called Transformed Birth Services. We host it at Bauer Family Resources because they have a family resource center that we can immediately connect families to, if required, for a variety of needs. By participating, families are eligible for free doula support paid for by the Tippecanoe County Health Department Health First Indiana funds. Doulas provide educational, emotional, and physical support during pregnancy, at birth, and postpartum and are recommended by the March of Dimes to improve maternal and infant outcomes. https://www.tippecanoe.in.gov/calendar.aspx?EID=2788
