The Business Development Committee assists the Chamber team and Board of Directors in planning and promoting Chamber Events, Projects, and Initiatives.

As part of Summer Reading 2025, Harford County Public Library hosts Wildlife Adventures: Colors of the Wild on August 7 from 2 to 3 p.m. at the Edgewood Library, 629 Edgewood Road. Colors of the Wild is a vibrant exploration of how animals use color to survive, communicate and create. Through gentle live animal encounters, kids will discover nature’s artistry while learning how they can help wildlife. Young artists are invited to bring their own wildlife art to share to celebrate the beauty of the natural world. Advanced registration (opens July 24) is required at https://programs.hcplonline.org/event/13305798.

There are no industry exclusivity restrictions, just an enjoyable time with great people. Together, we’ll explore ways to nurture mindset, body image, and emotions through shared experiences and healing practices. Guided by Kristen Burton, an Equine Gestalt Coach, Reiki Practitioner, yoga teacher, and cancer survivor, this circle offers a safe space to process emotions, rediscover inner strength, and embrace self-love. Come as you are. Leave with hope. The circle will be held in an indoor arena in the presence of a horse. No horse experience necessary, no riding involved.
