Healing Together: A Weekly Women’s Circle For those on a cancer journey Join us for a supportive and empowering gathering designed for women navigating the cancer journey. Together, we’ll explore ways to nurture mindset, body image, and emotions through shared experiences and healing practices. Guided by Kristen Burton, an Equine Gestalt Coach, Reiki Practitioner, yoga teacher, and cancer survivor, this circle offers a safe space to process emotions, rediscover inner strength, and embrace self-love. Come as you are. Leave with hope. The circle will be held in an indoor arena in the presence of a horse. No horse experience necessary, no riding involved.

As part of Summer Reading 2025, Harford County Public Library hosts Wildlife Adventures: Colors of the Wild on August 5 from 2 to 3 p.m. at the Fallston Library, 1461 Fallston Road. Colors of the Wild is a vibrant exploration of how animals use color to survive, communicate and create. Through gentle live animal encounters, kids will discover nature’s artistry while learning how they can help wildlife. Young artists are invited to bring their own wildlife art to share to celebrate the beauty of the natural world. The event is supported by the Fallston Friends of HCPL.
