Wake Up Spirit  1st Sunday every month, 11am-1pm At Floating Lotus Gloucester Wake Up Spirit is a dance of heart and community. A safe place to connect to spirit through movement and sound. We are so blessed to have this time and space to move our bodies freely, without judgement, to dance our prayers and dreams together.  We gather on the first Sunday of every month at the Floating Lotus on Main Street in Gloucester. Join us for this celebration of life. Feel free to join for the full event or just drop in for a while. We usually start with a warm up of yoga or meditation followed by movement and listening to live music presented by Jon and Lisa and friends.  $10-$15 suggested donation. Kids are free.

The Greater Cape Ann Chamber of Commerce Business Education and Scholarship Golf Tournament, an annual fundraising event to support the Chamber's education mission, is scheduled for Monday, May 19 at Bass Rocks Golf Club. The net proceeds of this event fund the Chamber's extensive work with the five Greater Cape Ann high schools, Essex Tech and education non-profits. The programming includes: monthly collaboration with all schools and education non-profits, DECA support, intern and mentorships, annual Cape Ann Career & Collage Fair and several scholarships. In addition to the Greater Cape Ann Chamber of Commerce Scholarship, the Chamber awards four scholarships named in honor of past leaders: Mike Costello, Sylvester (Red) Deering, Rudy Macchi, and Patricia Roy D'Alelio. This year, the Scholarship Winners will be presented their awards during the Awards Banquet.
