Psychic Fair and September Craft Festival  Sunday September 28th 10-5pm This September join us for our seasonal celebration of Apothecary Suil Crows annual Psychic Fair and Craft Festival! Enjoy a day full of mystery, shopping, readings by renowned psychics and mediums from all over Cape Ann, food, and community fun as we prepare for the month of October where everyone enjoys a bit of spooktacular fun! This will be our second year holding this fair which is destined to be another fun filled time on a Sunday during our favorite season of Autumn. Additional fun includes: -Face painting for all ages -Pie Baking contest from 12-2pm, eat and vote for your favorite -Photos with a real talking sorting hat, and receive a wand to take home While you enjoy the fair remember to look up and there will be witches flying above the tents and parking area!

Greater Cape Ann Regional College & Career Fair The Greater Cape Ann Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with Ipswich, Gloucester,  Rockport and Manchester-Essex High Schools, invites you and your family to join us on Tuesday, September 30 from 6:00 to 7:30pm, for the Greater Cape Ann Regional College & Career Fair, to be held at the Ipswich High School Lower Gymnasium 1.  Why should I attend? The Chamber's business leaders have partnered with our area schools to bring over 90 colleges and universities to the event, along with local business leaders, to help you explore career opportunities and associated educational pathways. 2.  What will I get out of it – how will it help me? In addition to the advanced education career fields, we will also have industries and opportunities represented that do not require college degrees, including the trades and Armed Forces. College and local business representatives will be there to help in the development of your personal roadmap towards a career on Cape Ann or beyond. 3.  What will it cost me?  There is no charge for this event. This fair is sponsored by The Greater Cape Ann Chamber Business & Professional Educators Network:  the Business Education Collaborative. We look forward to having you participate in this unique and exciting event, to help you better understand Cape Ann career paths.

Hammond Castle Museum’s Spiritualism Tours by Candlelight are an opportunity to explore the history of the Spiritualist movement and the occult side of the Museum’s past and to see one of the North Shore's most iconic historical landmarks in a whole new light. From John Hays Hammond Jr.’s attempts to communicate with supernatural entities using a Faraday Cage to Irene Fenton Hammond’s extensive astrological writings under a mysterious pen name, this 55-minute fully guided specialty tour sets the stage for a fun and informative seasonal experience unlike any other—enhanced by the dramatic, Gothic-inspired architecture of the building and the nighttime atmosphere. Electronic candles will be provided for optional use by visitors for the duration of the Spiritualism Tours by Candlelight. Not recommended for children under 13. Returning this season: Visitors who purchase tickets to the Spiritualism Tours by Candlelight may enjoy additional complimentary access to the Museum's oceanside terrace lawn for a carry-in/carry-out picnic on the date of their reservation. **Picnicking access is available between 5:30 pm and 7:00 pm, and will only be available if the weather permits.** The Museum will not provide any food or beverages, although bottled water is available for purchase in the Museum Shop. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted on the property. Admission: July, August & September: $25. October: $30 Member savings apply.

From stick figure doodlers to first-rate talents, join us for a seaside, Plein Air sketch class with Sue Wheeler of Arts Abound in Magnolia. All skill levels are welcome! This two-hour session includes a 30-minute beginner sketch lesson. All you need to bring is a sketchbook, pencils, a ruler and an eraser. Please note: watercolors, pastels, oils, or acrylics are not permitted on the Museum grounds. Attendees who wish to tour the Hammond Castle Museum after this class are entitled to a 20% discount on a self-guided tour. Tour tickets may be purchased in the Museum Shop before 2:30 p.m. on the day of this class. Parking is free. There are many stairs leading from the parking lot down to the Museum. All proceeds from this program will support the restoration of the Hammond Castle Museum.

Wake Up Spirit  1st Sunday every month, 11am-1pm At Floating Lotus Gloucester Wake Up Spirit is a dance of heart and community. A safe place to connect to spirit through movement and sound. We are so blessed to have this time and space to move our bodies freely, without judgement, to dance our prayers and dreams together.  We gather on the first Sunday of every month at the Floating Lotus on Main Street in Gloucester. Join us for this celebration of life. Feel free to join for the full event or just drop in for a while. We usually start with a warm up of yoga or meditation followed by movement and listening to live music presented by Jon and Lisa and friends.  $10-$15 suggested donation. Kids are free.
