This program is designed as a one-shot instruction opportunity for novices or beginners to receive technology help for a specific need or question. Examples of what we can help with: email setup and navigation, orienting to a new device (smartphone, tablet, eReader, etc.), internet basics, Libby setup Examples of what we cannot help with: virus protection, file migration, home visits, or website development Registration for this appointment is required. Please check in at the Information desk on the lower level of the library at the appointment start time. If you are seeking assistance with a specific device, please bring it with you to the appointment along with any login information and/or passwords. If you have technology needs that are smaller in scope, please feel free to visit the library during our regular hours.

The Mystery Book Club meets on the third Wednesday of each month for about an hour, and everyone is welcome (no registration required).The theme for October isFor each meeting, members read a book that falls within the theme for the month. At the meeting each member has a turn to discuss their book and gives the book a star rating out of five. A suggested reading list will be included below after a theme is determined, or feel free chat with a librarian for additional suggestions. There is also a monthly display of suggested reading on the fireplace mantel in the Mystery room, located on the upper level of the library. Stillwater Public Library is governed by a nine-person Board of Trustees appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the City Council. The Board of Trustees is the policy-making body for the library. Meetings are generally held on the second Tuesday of the month at 5:30 PM on the upper level of the library. Due to Veterans Day, the November meeting has been moved to Wednesday, November 12 at 5;30 PM.
