Shakespeare Costume Information   All 8th grade students have been successfully fitted into one of the many Shakespeare costumes owned by the school or lent to us by a parent.  Because they are delicate and pieces may be easily lost, costumes may not be transp......More

Shakespeare Costume Information   All 8th grade students have been successfully fitted into one of the many Shakespeare costumes owned by the school or lent to us by a parent.  Because they are delicate and pieces may be easily lost, costumes may not be transported by bus.   Therefore, we ask that all costumes are picked up and dropped off at the school by a parent.  If the times don’t work for you, it is fine for a friend or other parent to pick up for you.   Costume Pickup:  The costumes will be available for pickup under the portico at MTMS at the following times:   JUNE 2, 3, 4, 5 7:45 a.m.-3:30 p.m. *There is no need to ring the bell! You can just take the costume!   Night of the Festival: Dress in costume at home and wear it to school the night of June 9.   If necessary, you should use safety pins to secure your costume.  Pinning from the underneath usually works well and no one will see the pins. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT to try your costume with appropriate shoes ahead of time, so that there is time for you to make adjustments if needed.    Elizabethan Ladies:  Wear ballet slippers or appropriate shoes (low or no heels).  No platforms, sandals, or chunky styles.
