About Us
The Art School at Old Church is an art school and fine art gallery in Bergen County, New Jersey (North Jersey). Established in 1974, TASOC has enriched the lives of at least three generations through fine art and craft classes for adults, teens, children and families, as well as through workshops, art exhibits, outreach programs and more! Located in Demarest in a refurbished church building, we have four studios equipped for drawing, painting, sculpture, ceramics, jewelry, glass beads, basketry, printmaking, digital photography and collage. Classes are offered year-round through four semesters. We have two art galleries: the Mikhail Zakin Gallery, named for our founder, and the Café Gallery, both of which host a variety of exhibits throughout the year.
