About Us
Emerson Junior Football and Cheering promotes tackle and flag football in the Borough of Emerson, among pre-high school players, teaching them to play football, build character and promote good sportsmanship. At the same time, accompanying cheering squads shall be sponsored to teach pre-high school girls the art of cheering, build character and promote good sportsmanship. To accomplish this purpose, the Association shall sponsor as many football teams and cheerleading squads as it deems necessary to fulfill this purpose. While Emerson Rec Football is highly competitive, we aim to teach the children that success is not always reflected by the scoreboard. Our seasons are measured in the amount of skill and knowledge we teach each player. When we are successful in teaching our kids about teamwork, town pride, good sportsmanship and hard work, we believe we are all winners. The Emerson Football Association is always looking for new volunteer's to make our program better each year. We encourage you to reach out to us with any ideas that you feel our program would benefit from. We firmly believe that when we work together everybody wins.
