Children and teddy bears are invited to join Ms. Emily on the library lawn for the return of the annual teddy bearâs picnic.Children are encouraged to bring a stuffed toy and their lunch or a snack to listen to stories. Playtime with sidewalk chalk will follow.Bringing a blanket or lawn chairs is encouraged as the grass is often damp. In the event of poor weather, the event will be moved indoors with limited seating.

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION The library encourages patrons ages eight and up to turn off their TVs, smartphones, computers, and video games and join others at the library to play board games and card games. We call this Unplug & Play, and we hold it regularly on the first Thursday, the second Saturday (during non-summer months), and the third Tuesday of each month. The library has a large collection of games to choose from, and participants are also encouraged to bring games of their own. We also feature a collection of 150+ games for all ages that may be played in the library or checked out and taken home.
