Due to the Covid-19 pandemic in-person Centering Prayer is limited to 10 attendees. All are welcome to join via Zoom! Please call Pastor Laura to reserve your spot: 518-854-3729 OR  Join Via ZOOM- call for meeting ID and Password Everyone is invited to join us for this ongoing Centering Prayer group. Come whenever you are able. During our time of prayer we sit together in silence resting in the presence of God, opening our selves to the movement of the Holy Spirit. Centering Prayer does not replace other types of prayer, but is a complement to them. Its purpose is to deepen our relationship with the living Christ and grow us in faith as His disciples. Centering Prayer finds its roots in the 4th century practices of the Desert Fathers of Egypt, Palestine and Syria, including Evagrius, John Cassian and St. John Climacus. Going back further to Jesus Himself, “When you pray, go to your inner room, close the door and pray to your Father in secret. We are currently holding weekly Sunday Worship hybrid- both in person by sign-up and via Zoom internet or phone in. For access to Zoom, to signup for in-person or for more information please call the church at 518-854-3729 Sacred and welcoming, inspiring and enriching, hopeful and transforming... that is what we pray Sunday morning worship services at Hebron United Presbyterian will provide. Coming in jeans or suits, old or young, church goer from birth or beginning this Sunday, it is our hope that your worship experience at Hebron United bring you hope and joy as you encounter God with us.
