For assistance locating the makerspace doors, please call 440-285-7601 ext.2552.This is the mandatory training session for the UV Printer. Learn how you can print on fabric, plastic, wood, glass, candles, notebooks, and more. Learn the basic steps to use the UV printer so that you can come to the Chardon Maker Space and create your own one-of-a-kind items.All ages welcome to attend the training session. Children under 12 need a guardian with them to use the UV printer. The guardian must also attend this training before helping a minor with the machines. If you will require assistance, the library recommends finding your own assistant, who must also attend this mandatory training before working in the maker space.Must have a Clevnet or Geauga County Public Library card to sign the user agreement at the end of the session.Registration is required.

Learn how to use the Digital Legacy Lab to preserve your memories or start your next creative project. The Digital Legacy Lab is a free do-it-yourself space to convert your physical materials to digital files, preserving your important documents and memories for the future. Each Digital Legacy Lab is comprised of equipment and software for digitization projects, including 8mm and Super8 film scanners, photo and document scanners, vinyl record and cassette recorders, microphones, and VHS tapes. Digital Legacy Lab Orientations are available at least once a month to provide an introduction to the Digital Legacy Lab’s equipment and the process of digitization. The orientation does not include hands-on training with any equipment, and is not mandatory to use the Digital Legacy Lab. You must sign the Digital Legacy Lab User Agreement before using the Digital Legacy Labs. For assistance locating the makerspace doors, please call 440-285-7601 ext.2552.This is the mandatory training session for the large format printer/cutter available at the Bainbridge Branch and at the Chardon Creativity Center. The training also covers the heat press as it works well with the printer. The large format printer/cutter prints banners, posters, stickers, and heat transfer vinyl for garments and bags. Use the heat press to attach any heat transfer design from the printer on to your chosen shirt, sweatshirt, apron, bag, or other fabric. Learn the basic steps to use the large format printer/cutter and heat press so that you can come to the Bainbridge branch or the Chardon Creativity Center and create your own one-of-a-kind items.All ages welcome to attend the training session.
