A.C.E. is the academic booster organization for the Logan-Hocking Local School District. Its purpose is to support and promote academic programs in grades K-12 in the Logan-Hocking School District by encouraging and recognizing academic achievement.  Meetings Dates for 2025-2026 are held on the following Wednesdays: August 6, September 3, October 1, November 5, January 7, February 4, March 4, and April 8 (April 1 is LHSD Spring Break).  Meetings will be Virtual Format, unless noted. All parents, teachers, administrators and others interested in supporting academics are welcome to attend. Memberships are: $10 individual, $15 family and $35 for a business. Our membership drive usually begins mid-September and runs through the end of October, but prospective members are welcome to join at anytime throughout the year. https://www.actreview.com/act-test-prep-courses Updated Logan High School ACT Prep Course Flyer will be attached. Course Needs: Whiteboard, Digital Projector, Voice Amplification in Lecture Room. Registered students in the ACT Review Course with Dr. Lynn Dailey will report to the Lecture Hall (Rm.302) for the ACT Review Session for attendance.  Students will be reported as "School Related" in Infinite Campus for their absence from class. The all-day review course schedule (approximate times): 7:45am Registration/Check-In/Attendance 8:00am-11:00am AM Session 1 11:00-11:30am Lunch Break 11:30am-2:25pm PM Session 2 2:30pm Dismissal Students will receive an ACT Review course book along with memorization sheets and worksheets. These materials give examples and explanations; they have over 1500 drills for students to work. Additionally, practice ACT tests will be emailed to students. Much of the information given in this course can also be utilized to excel on the SAT and PSAT. Students should bring school materials/backpacks that include pen/pencils, calculator and be ready to work hard.
