Learn how to engrave and cut flat and cylindrical objects like a drinking glass so that you can come to the Bainbridge branch or to the Chardon Creativity Center and create your own one-of-a-kind items.All ages welcome to attend the training session. Children under 15 need a guardian with them to use the laser engraver. The guardian must also attend this training before helping a minor with the engraver. If you will require assistance, the library recommends finding your own assistant, who must also attend this mandatory training before working in the maker spaces. Each Digital Legacy Lab is comprised of equipment and software for digitization projects, including 8mm and Super8 film scanners, photo and document scanners, vinyl record and cassette recorders, microphones, and VHS tapes. Digital Legacy Lab Orientations are available at least once a month to provide an introduction to the Digital Legacy Lab’s equipment and the process of digitization. The orientation does not include hands-on training with any equipment, and is not mandatory to use the Digital Legacy Lab. You must sign the Digital Legacy Lab User Agreement before using the Digital Legacy Labs.
