The writing factory is a place for writers to meet, hosted by the Springfield Town Library. It is a place for writers to work on their works in progress, while also sharing their work with others. Each session will start with sharing a piece of writing, followed by time to write independently, and then time to either share or just talking about the writing process.  The writing factory is hosted by local writer Anna Boarini. She has a masterâ��s in creative writing from Dartmouth College and worked for many years as a journalist. Anna is a Springfield resident and a member of the library board of trustees.  This event is free and open to the public call (802) 885-3108 if you have any questions.

Show, Donâ��t Tell Join Susan Speranza author of "Ice Out" at the Springfield Town Library on the first Wednesday of the month at 5:30 pm beginning Wednesday, February 1, 2023 Susan was born in New York City and grew up on Long Island where they had an interesting and creative childhood. Once in college, they studied psychology and philosophy, but since "thinking" didn't translate into earning money or job security, Susan worked at a variety of different and unrelated jobs both in New York City and on Long Island.
