CMSC's Sensory Exploration Program is a special monthly session for families with children on the autism spectrum, children with sensory processing disorders, and children with other developmental disabilities. During Sensory Exploration, the Children's Museum provides these families exclusive access to the Museum. Children ages 1-12 years are welcome and must be accompanied by an adult caregiver. Sound-reducing earmuffs, sunglasses, sensory balls, and additional support services available. Enjoy a safe and understanding environment. Play during a quieter, less crowded time. Pre-registration required - session is free to attend.

They help promote and advance the services and programs of the Chamber while being a vital communication link between Chamber staff, Board members, and Chamber members, providing valuable feedback to assist in the development of member initiatives.  All members are welcome to attend an Ambassador Committee meeting! It's perfect if you'd like to learn more or are interested in joining the Committee. Community Access Day, formerly known as Community Free Day, is back in 2022! Providing access for everyone to the Children’s Museum has always been a priority. Community Access Day will be held on the second Tuesday of the month, and the museum will be open from 10 am-5 pm. Admission will be “pay as you can”, which includes no charge, in order to reduce barriers for children and families.
