The Burlington Chamber of Commerce Ambassador Committee is a group of business professionals who serve as advocates for the Chamber and business community. They help promote and advance the services and programs of the Chamber while being a vital communication link between Chamber staff, Board members, and Chamber members, providing valuable feedback to assist in the development of member initiatives.  All members are welcome to attend an Ambassador Committee meeting! It's perfect if you'd like to learn more or are interested in joining the Committee. It is an excellent opportunity to increase your participation in the Chamber, and we are always looking for more members who are enthusiastic about the Chamber and are eager to share all that we do with our other members. Some benefits of being a part of the Ambassador Committee include: Opportunities for high-visibility networking Additional exposure for your business New Ambassadors will receive a Free Lunch and an announcement for their first luncheon Forming close ties with other enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers Creating business relationships while serving the business community Access to the Ambassador Rewards Program & Point System! Second and fourth Thursday of each month. Usual exceptions are the second meeting in November, which is moved to the Tuesday of that week to avoid Thanksgiving. The second meeting in December is often cancelled to avoid the holidays.

Community Access Day, formerly known as Community Free Day, is back in 2022! Providing access for everyone to the Children’s Museum has always been a priority. Community Access Day will be held on the second Tuesday of the month, and the museum will be open from 10 am-5 pm. Admission will be “pay as you can”, which includes no charge, in order to reduce barriers for children and families.

STATE OF THE COUNTY   Join us for an informative and engaging luncheon at the State of the County event, featuring Skagit County Commissioner Ron Wesen. He will discuss the latest developments in infrastructure, public services, and economic growth in our amazing county. He will reflect on the past year’s achievements and look ahead to the future of Skagit County. This annual program provides a comprehensive overview of key issues, growth initiatives, and projects that are shaping the community. Enjoy a delicious lunch from Panera Bread while gaining insights into how Skagit County is evolving, the challenges we face, and the opportunities on the horizon. This event offers a platform for building connections, understanding local issues, and contributing to a stronger, more vibrant Skagit County. Thank you to our Luncheon Supporters: SaviBank and HF Sinclair.  We look forward to catering by Panera Bread.   Tickets for our monthly gift basket are $1 a piece.  Bring cash, card or include purchase of tickets when you preregister for the luncheon.

CMSC's Sensory Exploration Program is a special monthly session for families with children on the autism spectrum, children with sensory processing disorders, and children with other developmental disabilities. During Sensory Exploration, the Children's Museum provides these families exclusive access to the Museum. Children ages 1-12 years are welcome and must be accompanied by an adult caregiver. Sound-reducing earmuffs, sunglasses, sensory balls, and additional support services available. Enjoy a safe and understanding environment. Play during a quieter, less crowded time. Pre-registration required - session is free to attend.
