The Eckhart Public Library Campus will have modified hours during the week of the DeKalb County Free Fall Fair.Monday, September 22: The Library Campus will close at 5:00 pm.Tuesday, September 23: The Library Campus will close at 5:00 pm.Wednesday, September 24: The Library Campus will close at 5:00 pm.Thursday, September 25: The Library Campus will be closed.Friday, September 26: The Library Campus will be closed.Saturday, September 27: The Library Campus will be closed.The Library Campus includes our Main Library, Administrative Annex, Teen Library, and Genealogy Center. The book and media drop adjacent to the library parking lot is always open.Even when the library is closed, our streaming & digital content and online resources are available 24 hours a day. Eckhart Mobile Outreach Service (EMOS) Deliveries are part of a flexible program that brings library materials to the homes of patrons, educators, and childcare providers. Deliveries are a free service provided by library staff and volunteers to people within DeKalb County.Deliveries occur every other Friday, and we'll pick up your previous materials when we drop off the new ones. [email protected] will be asked to fill out a short survey about what kinds of materials you would like to receive from Eckhart Public Library. This form can be printed, filled out in its entirety, and given to the driver. Did you know that the Friends of EPL raise money to help fund the programming and services of Eckhart Public Library? All of their proceeds go towards supporting the library.The Friends of Eckhart Public Library will hold a book and media sale at the Willennar Administrative Annex on the second Saturday of each month from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm. The early bird hour from 9:00 - 10:00 am will be for Friends of EPL members only. Friends of EPL memberships will be available at the door.Books will be priced at $1.00 for hardcovers and $.50 for paperbacks.This is a wonderful opportunity to get some great deals on books, movies, music, and more--all while supporting the library.
